Athletes have long enjoyed bespoke uniforms, shoes, tennis rackets and food menus.
Yet formerly, the mattresses provided for them in the Athletes’ Village were exactly the same in every room,
regardless of body shape.
Athletes differ individually by height, weight, musculature and other characteristics. To assure each athlete of
an ideal sleep experience, airweave offers mattresses that can be tailored to their individual needs.

Caring for
the Environment
“Reuse”
Airweave bedding is crafted from a polyethylene material called airfiber®. The cover can be removed and washed in a washing machine and the airfiber® can be washed in cold water. Many people are resistant to using bedding someone else has slept in, but through easy disassembly and cleaning, airweave bedding can be reused in pristine condition.
Airweave has contributed to the “achievement of a sustainable society” by enabling reuse of the bedding to local governments and to organizations benefiting the public after completion of other past sports competitions supported by airweave.
Achieving a sustainable society is also a goal of Paris 2024. Airweave’s ability to supply products that contribute to this goal will fulfill Paris 2024’s vision. To archive that goal, airweave provides beddings for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Athletes’ Village (approximately 16,000 beds).
